George E. Jones Jr., CISM CRISC CISSP, is an Information Security Architect focused on Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and is a Cybersecurity subject matter expert with over 35 years of experience in the Information Technology field. George has held the CISSP certification since 2002 and added the Certified Information Security Manager, CISM, in 2008. He was awarded the Certified in Risk and Information Security Controls certification in 2011.

George completed his BS/BA with Information Technology focus at Colorado Technical University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

 With a 13+ year foundation at IBM as a Mainframe Engineer and Development Senior Associate Programmer, George moved into the Financial Services vertical with several Wall Street Banks including Dean Witter InterCapital in the World Trade Center, JP Morgan and BNY Mellon, and contributed to the Estee Lauder Global Risk Management team, and engagements in Chicago with banking and manufacturing global companies including Bank of Montreal / Harris Bank and Kellogg. George has also worked in the Energy and Healthcare verticals, and has over 800 followers to his cybersecurity postings on LinkedIn.
