The discussion of aerial drone technology is ubiquitous in the media today.
Whether its military drone strikes in foreign countries,
near misses with aircraft or potential snooping on neighbors drone; drones are in the news!

This month’s BDPA Detroit Chapter Information Exchange Meeting is meant to be a forum to discuss current
consumer and publicity known military aerial drone capabilities as well as some of the concerns associated with them.

As President of Harrison Technology, Dr. Harrison provides insight to solve technology challenges in the fields of robotics, computer graphic simulation, software systems design, Internet Security and e-commerce, as well as cutting edge mobile and cloud based business intelligence platforms.

 Dr. Harrison is a nationally recognized authority and speaker on such topics as Internet Security, disaster recovery and business-to-business process automation. He has served as a Technology Transition Team Consultant to Michigan Governors and Mayors.

Dr. Harrison has been involved with Black Data Processing Associates since the early 1990’s, initially supporting the Information Technology Subcommittee Chair at the BDPA Detroit Chapter meetings held at The Urban League in Detroit. He has held several chapter leadership positions, eventually growing the chapter through lively technology topics. He has continued his support by becoming an Outside Director, assisting the Detroit Leadership Team. He is a mobile technology development mentor for the National BDPA Mobile App Showcase. 

Dr. Harrison received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters for recognition of his leadership in advanced technology from Marygrove College in Detroit. He holds a patent for High Fidelity Rendering in Computer Graphic Environments  and has published multiple Mobile Apps. He remains committed to the growth of technology, and those whom have an interest in it.
